 Instagram From2tv is an entertainment network focused on slowing down the information cycle to capture small, niche, and banal happenings that often pass us by. We see the creation of this entertainment network as a social and collective project that should be seen and consumed as an in-person, public event. The project sits in contrast to glossy news networks that present a polished “reality” to you from the comfort of your own home. We want to present a reality that skews the dominant structures and ways of seeing our world here in Switzerland.

With a lean production that uses a combination of life-size and miniature stage elements, we can intervene with simple tricks that create the visual language of from2tv. The project’s visual language allows for illusion, play and the mixing of realities. Our goal is to create a network of young creatives in Switzerland that are interested in developing an alternative to the typical entertainment, media and value paradigms. 


On the Wings of Hermès from 2023 which introduced the luxury brand to a miniature world that was recorded live with an audience
Using the miniature set from Mr. Roger's Neighborhood as a reference, the world of from2tv will also be established as adjacent to our own, but not quite the same

The sets for public access television have a particular style that references home decor and aims for a relaxed mood 
Marcel Duchamp’s The Box in a Valise from 1935–1966 removes the mystique from art objects by making them miniature and transportable
Jacques Tati with the set of Playtime, 1967, using miniatures and optical tricks to build believable new realities
